Birthday time

This is a card that I did for my 3 year old nephew. It is a shadow box card. It is my first one, but it won't be my last, thats for sure. I had a great time making this card, although it is quite simple. I made it very quickly because I waited until the last minute, of course. All the supplies and stamps I used came from Stampin' Up! That is my absolute favorite stamp company ever. I used my favorite color green, which is Green Galore, and white c.s. I used a coluzzle to cut out the center, and a circle punch for the hoppy birthday. First I stamped the green cardstock with the By Definition background stamp. The stamp set I used is Unfroggetable, and I used leftover rubber trimmings from stamp sets to use as a pop dot for the adorable little snail on the front. I watercolored with my stamp pads to color everything. I got the idea to do this card from an amazing tutorial from a lovely woman named Dawn. She has a fabulous blog I will send you toI hope you enjoy this card. The link for Dawns tutorial is

I love flowers

Flower images are my all time favorite kinds of stamps, I can't seem to get enough. This card is one of a few cards I am donating to a benefit for someone with cancer. The flower stamp is from The Angel Company, and everything else I used is from Stampin' Up! This card is about 3 in. by 6 in., I love this size card. Enjoy

My first entry

I have never blogged before, but I think this might be a lot of fun. Check back later for some card samples. Thanks
